Matthew 24:14

“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached

in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”

God’s Glory will cover the Earth one day…

Numbers 14:21 “But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD.”

One Church meeting in many places

Acts 20:17-28  “And from Miletus he sent to Ephesus, and called the elders (presbyters) of the church.  (28) Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers (Episkopos / Bishops), to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.”

Philippians 1:1 “Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi, with the bishops (episkopos) and deacons:”

Titus 1:5 “For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee:”

Unity is the Key!

Psalms 133  “A Song of degrees of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.”

Glory brings Unity

John 17:21-22 “That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:”

Glory Transforms Us!

2 Corinthians 3:18 “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed (transfigured/transformed) into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”

The “vision” is God’s Glory covering the Earth

Habakkuk 2:1-2,14 “I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. {2} And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it… For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.”

Whom shall I send?

The Message is the Glory!

Isaiah 6:3;8,9 “And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is to become full of his glory… {8} Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me. {9} And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.

The Earth will be Harvested one day…

The lost will come to the House of the Lord!

Isaiah 60:1-5 “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. {2} For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. {3} And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising. {4} Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side. {5} Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.”

There is One Church in each city or region...

It consists of many Local Churches.

None of the Apostles tried to have the largest church in Jerusalem…

They worked together building the One Church of the Lord. Our goal is not to have the biggest individual church in the city. Our goal is to have the city see One United Church filled and Transformed with the Glory of God causing the people of the city to repent falling on their knees and being Born Again!

When Gatekeepers gather to pray… they place the Leadership of the City Church into Jesus’ hands… 

The Church of the City…

The Apostles did not strive for the largest church in Jerusalem… they worked together building the One Church of the Lord.

Our goal is not to have the biggest individual church in the city… our goal is to have the city fall on it’s knees before God in the “one body” and see the city transformed.

All the letters were written to “the church” in the city. We have taken the instructions, etc. and interpreted it into the local church when it was written to the One Church in a city or region. Read the letters in that context and we see the Shepherds: Bishops, Apostles, etc. differently.

Philippians 3:13…  “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. In order to grab hold of the prize, we must LET GO of all other things.

Apostolic Heart: The Apostle is a builder:             An Apostle is “the friend of the bridegroom”. Apostolic: the heart to build up the Body and the Kingdom of God… not necessarily a/some churches. He sows into the lives and ministries of others at his own expense.

Revelation 2:1-2 “Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks; {2} I know thy works, and thy labor, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars…”

There are false apostles, but God is restoring true Apostles, fathers in the true sense of the word. An example of a false apostle: 3 John 1:9 “I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not.”

Philippians 2:19-21 “But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy shortly unto you, that I also may be of good comfort, when I know your state. For I have no man likeminded, who will naturally care for your state. For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ's.”

Evangelism of a City or Region is a Product of

the Glory of God Transforming His People!

When Unbelievers see  the Glory and the Unity

They will believe and come to The Lord!
